Piña Colada

Pineapple cake filled with pineapple preserves and topped with coconut frosting. Instead of yellow sprinkles I used yellow gel and i put drink umbrellas

Nutty for Coconut

White cake filled and frosted with coconut frosting. Sprinkled with coconut, drizzle with chocolate ganache and topped with two almonds. (Made oct 25-27)

Neopolitan

Strawberry cake, filled with chocolate frosting, frosted with vanilla frosting and decorated with chocolate and strawberry frosting. Very rich, but good (made oct. 18)

Chai Tea Cupcakes

The cake and frosting was supposed to be made with chai tea extract but I didn't have that so I used a potent pot of tea. They didn't really taste like tea. It was cream cheese frosting with cinnamon on op and Asian symbols. The frosting got really watery because I added more tea to taste more like tea. (Made oct 8)


Mucho Gusto

Mini white cupcakes with lime frosting. I didn't have lime oil so I only used lime juice and zest. Topped with a dried mango and ground chili pepper. (Made September 29)

Tiramisu

Butter cake with the top chopped off and frosted in between with tiramisu filling and on top with cream cheese frosting. Dusted with cocoa powder. Very good. 




Mojito Cupcakes

White cake with mint leaves mixed in. On top was a mojito glaze made with sugar lime and rum. I made some without rum too. On top was a lime and a mint sprig. The glaze was too liquidy. It slid off. (Made 9/15)




Sweet Lavender

Butter cake with wild honey frosting. The frosting just tasted like honey. The frosting was very liquidy also, it wouldn't stiffen. I made lavender brittle for the top. I couldn't find dried lavender so I used black tea with lavender. After a few days the lavender brittle   melted. Not the best cupcakes. But better than the fig ones. (Made 9/8)
